Today was Miller's 9 month check up and also Robert's school pictures, it was kind of a perfect storm. Rob was out of town so I had to take them both to the MD, rush Robert to school, get Miller home to get a little nap so she will be in a good mood, then get back to the school in time for the pictures. You may be wondering why so much fuss over school pictures. Well they are not just your plain old run of the mill school pictures, they are done by a professional photographer and the last 2 years they have been AWESOME. It was so great to send him to school dressed up and then get the proofs a few weeks later. The teachers are so good at keeping them clean and I loved not having to dance in front of him and get him to look, get him to smile, get him to sit up, etc. Well my perfect, stress free, beautiful pictures of Robert were forever ruined 6 days ago when they said i could bring Miller and have her in the pictures with him. So here I am in the middle of 14, 3 year olds doing my dance to make Robert look, Miller won't smile, Robert is rolling on the ground, putting his hands in his mouth, pulling on Millers dress. It was terrible and so embarrassing. Robert has always been a bad picture taker, when he was 9 months we had his first professional pictures. She had him naked in our front hall and he pooped on the floor. I need to just give it up. Miller is usually a great picture taker, below you can see some I took this afternoon just to make myself feel better if the school pictures don't turn out. The ones of them together didn't really turn out that great either but we can try again.
Miller is now 18 lbs and is 26.5 inches tall. She says Mama, waves and says bye,bye and eats
everything in sight. Seriously she ate more mac and cheese than Robert
did last night. She takes 2 naps and sleeps 7 to 6:30. She has 4 teeth
and two more poking through. She is trying to pull up a lot and she
still does the army crawl but she is really really fast.
