The Coast

Rob had a conference in Biloxi, MS this week and we all made the trip. This was my first time to the MS Coast and it was a lot different that the FL coast. I wish I had seen it before Katrina because there seemed to be so much missing, lots of empty lots all up and down the coast. We stayed at the Beau Rivage, they were very busy and very crowded, it seemed that they were doing very well.

Robert and I were on our own a lot with Rob in meetings. The first day we check out the Lynn Meadows Discover Center Robert loved it, as so as you walk in the front door there is a giant train table.

An hour later we were finally able to move on to some of the other exhibits.

This is in the story time section. Our neighbor and friend Mindy's aunt made this next for the Discover Center.

And his second favorite exhibit was the canoe. When he sits in the canoe he can watch himself on the monitor and it looks like he is on a river. He loved it.


We got to see a real train when we visited the Walter Anderson Gift Shop, Robert loved it, until it blew it's whistle.

This was Robert's first time to stay in a hotel room, he loved that they had towels that were just his size.
