Duck Season Ends with a Bang

Rob and Duncan found a few ducks on the next to last weekend of duck season. It's been a slow year, so this was a great hunt.



The last weekend of season turned out even better. Hunting a famous blind in the "Sunken Lands" produced 5 limits of ducks, when there weren't even very many ducks in the area.

After the hunt, 25 or so hunters piled into our blind, where the club celebrated the final weekend of the year by cooking lamb chops and beef tenderloin. Yeah, that's smoke billowing out of the blind. What a memorable hunt.
