Tonight we went to the Reformation Celebration party at our church. Did you know that Martin Luther nailed his 95 Thesis to the door of the church in Wittenburg, Germany on Oct. 31, 1517 which started the Protestant Reformation? So every year our church has a big carnival/party to celebrate. So there was lots of costumes, face painting, games, and candy!
Robert really got into the celebration this year. He was dressed as one of the ape's given to King Solomon by the Queen of Sheba (1 Kings 10 and the subject of the sermon two weeks ago) and he won 1st place in the Best in Bible category in the costume contest, yeah Robert! Robert loved all the games and the jumpy house but his favorite was the cake walk.
